The NFL schedule makers haven't been kind to the primetime audience of late, and tonight's Monday Night Football matchup between the Chicago Bears and New England Patriots reeks of another low-scoring affair under the lights.

The game currently has an over/under projection of just 40.5 points, the second-lowest total this week behind only the New York Jets and Denver Broncos.

BetSided's team has your complete betting guide to the matchup, including our favorite spread bets, props, and more available at our Expert Picks and Predictions page here. Here, we'll focus on plays that are in a great position to put some points on the board.

Ahead of determining which players are best suited to find the end zone, let's take a look at the latest odds for tonight from Gillette Stadium:

Bears vs. Patriots Odds, Spread and Total

Despite one of the lower totals of the week, here are three potential anytime touchdown candidates that could pay off nicely for tonight in primetime.

Monday Night Football Anytime Touchdown Picks for Bears vs. Patriots

  • Rhamondre Stevenson (-140) - BetMGM
  • Hunter Henry (+330) - FanDuel
  • Khalil Herbert (+550) - FanDuel

Rhamondre Stevenson (-140)

It's pricey, but how do we leave Stevenson off this list?

Last week vs. Cleveland, the second-year back doubled his red zone rushes from 3 to 6, while also adding in a pair of receptions. He also scored twice after some bad luck not finding the end zone in the previous two weeks.

Chicago's had trouble slowing down the run all season, ranked 27th in Football Outsiders' Run DVOA defense metric.

If the -140 or shorter odds is a little too much given the volatile nature of the prop, consider Stevenson at nearly 2/1 odds to score a touchdown in the first half. Chicago, to their credit has been an elite second-half defense this year, ranking fourth in the NFL in points allowed, while fixing a lot of their first half issues.

Hunter Henry (+330)

Henry has seen his target share go up consistently the last four weeks, leading to a season high seven catches for 61 yards and a score last week against the Browns.

He also doesn't leave the field for this New England team, dominating the snap count at 97% and owning more than 20% of the team's targets last week.

The Patriots veteran has a great opportunity to celebrate "National Tight Ends Day" a day late in prime time.

Khalil Herbert (+550)

David Montgomery is back and healthy, but Chicago has not been shy about using a timeshare approach between both backs in their offense.

Herbert had two touches in the red zone last week, and looked like the far more explosive runner compared to Montgomery, gashing Washington for 75 yards on just seven carries. Both runners had the same number of red zone touches for Chicago in their Week 6 loss to Washington, yet Herbert's odds are almost triple!

He's yet to score since Week 3, but considering the number of touches he continues to receive, I much prefer Herbert's price at +550 compared to Montgomery at +170.
