The Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears will close out Monday’s slate in the NFL with a NFC North division matchup.

The Vikings are currently 6.5-point road favorites in this matchup, but I really don’t like either side given Minnesota’s penchant for playing close games this season.

However, here are three prop bets I have my eye on for Monday night at WynnBET:

Best Prop Bets for Vikings vs. Bears

  • Justin Jefferson OVER 94.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
  • David Montgomery Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+105)
  • Kirk Cousins OVER 1.5 Touchdown Passes (-160)

Justin Jefferson OVER 94.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

The Chicago Bears’ entire secondary appears to be on the Reserve/COVID-19 List, and that means it's going to be showtime for Justin Jefferson on Monday Night Football.

With Adam Thielen listed as questionable despite not practicing this week, Jefferson should get all the targets he can handle against a weak Bears pass defense.

Over his last five games, Jefferson has receiving yards totals of 143, 169, 83, 182 and 79 and is averaging 99.1 yards per game on the season.

Kirk Cousins and the Vikings should air the ball out plenty in this matchup, and Jefferson is going to be the primary beneficiary.

David Montgomery Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+105)

On today’s Bet & Breakfast podcast, our own Reed Wallach explained that he thinks this could be a big game for Montgomery against Minnesota’s run defense.

I agree.

The Vikings have allowed the eighth most rushing yards in the NFL this season and allow a whopping 4.7 yards per carry. They’ve also allowed 12 rushing touchdowns this season.

If the Bears want to stay in this game, riding Montgomery may be their best bet, and I love getting him at plus money to score tonight. The Bears running back has just four scores this season, but he did score against the Arizona Cardinals when he saw 21 carries. I think he could see a similar workload tonight.

Kirk Cousins OVER 1.5 Touchdown Passes (-160)

Do I love the -160 juice on this prop? Of course not.

However, I do love Cousins, even on Monday Night Football, to exploit a banged-up secondary for the Bears.

Kirk has thrown for two or more scores in all but three games this season, and he’s done it in six straight heading into this matchup.

There is no way that the Bears have enough firepower to slow down Jefferson and potentially Thielen tonight. Give me the over for Kirk.
