Monday Night Football Best Prop Bets for Vikings vs. Eagles (Ride Dalvin Cook to Glory)
We have a Monday Night Football double-header in Week 2!
The Tennessee Titans and Buffalo Bills will play in the first window, and then the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles will cap off the week with an NFC showdown.
Both teams have had a lot of hype surrounding them in the offseason, and now we'll get to see which of the two teams will start with a 2-0 record.
If you want my best bet for the game, check out my betting preview here.
In this article, I'm going to give you my top three prop bets, with odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.
Monday Night Football Vikings vs. Eagles Prop Bets
- Dalvin Cook OVER 71.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
- Miles Sanders OVER 56.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
- Justin Jefferson OVER 7.5 Receptions (+120)
Dalvin Cook OVER 71.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
This game is a matchup between two teams who were ineffective at stopping the run in their opening week matchup. The Eagles allowed the Lions to run all over them. They allowed 6.5 yards per carry, so we're going to go ahead and take the OVER on Dalvin Cook's rushing total.
Cook had a solid Week 1 performance, rushing for 90 yards on 20 attempts against the Packers. As promising as the yardage is, I'm even more happy about the fact he got 20 attempts. If he gets that many carries against the Eagles, I think we'll see him go well over his rushing total.
Miles Sanders OVER 56.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
As I mentioned above, neither team defended the run well in Week 1. The Vikings gave up 6.2 yards per carry to the Packers, so we're also going to take the OVER on Miles Sander's rushing total.
Sanders didn't get as many carries as Cook did in t he opening week, but he was more effective. He rushed for 96 yards on 13 carries, averaging 7.38 yards per attempt. With his yardage total only set at 56.5 for this game, I love the OVER.
Justin Jefferson OVER 7.5 Receptions (+115)
Nobody is benefitting from Kevin O'Connell's offense than Justin Jefferson. He has one of the best individual performances across the entire NFL last week, snagging nine receptions from 11 targets for 184 yards and two touchdowns.
Just like Cooper Kupp of the Rams did last year in O'Connell's offense, I expect similar production from Jefferson. That means catches, catches, and more catches. I love that we're getting the over 7.5 at plus-money.
