At just 27 years old, Patrick Mahomes has his eyes set on a certain Hall of Famer's touchdown record this Monday night when the Chiefs host the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football.

And it just so happens he'll be in the building to possibly see his number get passed up.

Mahomes is only three touchdowns back of former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman for 76th on the all-time list with 165 for his career. Aikman will be calling the broadcast with fellow Hall of Famer Joe Buck on the ESPN crew this evening.

Right now, Mahomes' touchdown prop is set at 2.5, with plus-odds to tie Aikman's record.

Before we dive into whether we'll be adding any Mahomes-related props to our card, let's first take a look at the odds for this AFC West matchup.

Chiefs Moneyline (-340)

For those potentially concerned about it being a trap game ahead of next week vs. the Buffalo Bills, fear not.

Mahomes has dominated the Raiders over his career with 22 touchdowns to just three interceptions In his last six matchups, he's 5-1 straight up while Derek Carr has gone 1-7 SU vs. the Chiefs. Also, via Evan Abrams of TAN, Mahomes has never lost at home coming off a road trip of two-plus games (9-0).

Patrick Mahomes 250+ Passing Yards (-270)

Mahomes torched this Raiders' defense a season ago and I can say with almost full certainty that this unit is not improved from a season ago.

The Raiders rank 30th out of 32 teams in net yards / attempt, while Mahomes has thrown for 250-plus passing yards against them in four straight starts, averaging 338 passing yards/game.

Mahomes' projection is just under 280 yards passing, so he should clear this without hesitation.

Derek Carr 250+ Passing Yards (-198)

Carr's numbers over the last several games vs. the Chiefs are actually pretty good, even though his team took it on the chin. In his last four games vs. Kansas City Carr has eight total touchdowns and four interceptions., all while throwing for over 250-plus yards in all four games.

This year, the Raiders' offense has more playmakers than he's ever had during his time with the organization, and with a total in the low-to-mid 50's on the board, expect Carr to throw early and often to try and keep up.

Carr is projected for 272.5, so we get 22.5 yards of wiggle room.

Isiah Pacheco OVER 20.5 Rushing Yards (-130)

The Chiefs love what they've found in this seventh-round draft pick and as a result, he's gotten more carries in each of the season. Last week he capitalized in their blowout win vs. Tampa Bay, rushing 11 times for 63 yards.

His burst and speed appears to rival both Clyde Edwards-Helaire as well as Jerick McKinnon. If he just breaks one big run on Monday, he passes this over.

JuJu Smith-Schuster Anytime TD (+185)

The Chiefs de facto No. 1 receiver has put together a nice season thus far, but just doesn't have the touchdown receptions to show for it. He's seen 27 targets so far this year and has yet to get into the end zone.

He has been limited the last day or so with a hamstring that's tightened up, so if that scares you off of him, it's well-understood. However, the matchup vs. the Raiders' secondary is juicy, so if he plays, it's hard to fathom that he doesn't get opportunities in the red zone this week.

OVER 46.5 (-240)

This alternative over/under is more of a play-it-safe add-on to the parlay where the original total is now over a key number at 51.5. By moving it down to past 46.5, we pass through two key numbers of 51 as well as 47, which hit the third and fourth-most frequently in the NFL.
