NASCAR South Point 400 Odds: Kyle Larson Stands Alone As Major Favorite
By Thomas Snodgrass
NASCAR Playoffs will roll on Sunday with the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Kyle Larson in the No. 5 car has already picked up six wins and 16 top-five finishes on the season, leading the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series standings with 3059 points. Larson will be starting this race off in the pole position.
WynnBET Sportsbook has Larson as the favorite to take this race at +300, but will face off against others that have found success at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Kurt Busch (+3300) in the #1 car was the last man to win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the 2020 edition of the South Point 400 after starting in the No.9 position. The Pennzoil 400 took place at this speedway last year as well and Joey Logano (+1400) in the #22 car took that race after starting in the No.5 position.
A decent value bet could be Martin Truex Jr. (+800) in the #19 car. Truex Jr. won the 2019 South Point 400 after starting in the No.24 position and he currently sits second in the NASCAR Cup Series standings and has four wins on the year.
