NBA Best Bets Today (Predictions for Every NBA Game Today)
There’s only four games on the schedule today, so why not give out an extra pick. We’re going to hit every game on today.
I have an even split on my picks today, with two player props and two picks on a side.
Without further ado, let’s get into the picks.
NBA Best Bets Today
- Luka Dončić OVER 30.5 Points
- Jalen Green OVER 23.5 Points
- Lakers -3 vs. Spurs
- Suns -7 vs. Jazz
Luka Dončić OVER 30.5 Points
Dončić has cleared this line in 13 of 16 games. He is the offense for the Mavericks. He has to carry the Mavericks’ offensive game plan night in and night out. The Raptors don’t have the same resources as they normally do to cover Dončić on the wing. Expect Luka to get plenty of shots up and plenty of points against a Raptors team that is 20th in defensive rating over the last 5 games.
Jalen Green OVER 23.5 Points
Green broke out of his slump against the Hawks. He scored 30 points ending a three game skid of missing this mark. Now that he has rhythm again, the leading shot taker on the Rockets should easily clear this mark. Green has gone over this mark six times this year, but has cleared it in four of his last 10 games. Trust him to have a big game against a young Thunder team.
Lakers -3 vs. Spurs
These teams have played twice in the last week and the Lakers have won each game by double digits. Even though LeBron James had a subpar return, Los Angeles clearly has the Spurs’ number.
Anthony Davis had another dominant night yesterday, dropping 25 points and 15 rebounds. The Lakers have found a groove behind his great play. With James as a second option, this team is set up nicely going forward.
The Spurs have lost seven straight games and have failed to cover in their last five. They haven’t proven they can compete with Los Angeles, so I’ll fade them again today.
Suns -7 vs. Jazz
It looks like the Utah Jazz’s fairytale start to the season is coming to an end. Utah has two three-game losing streaks in the last eight games and is slipping down the Western Conference standings.
Over the last eight games, Utah’s defense has fallen apart. The Jazz are last in defensive rating, which has put them 29th in the league in net rating. Tonight, they’ll face the Suns, who have the third-best offensive rating in the league.
The Jazz were able to get a tough win at home the last time they played the Suns, but things will be different tonight with the game in Phoenix.
Since the Suns lost to the Jazz, they’ve won three straight games. They are trending in the right direction and Utah is headed the other way.
