Our guy Peter Dewey is crushing it this month with his best bets, going 13-3-1 since the start of the month. I'm going to try and hop on that wave, and get some winners for tonight's slate of NBA games.

It seems like I'm always backing Giannis Antetokounmpo on the weekend slate, but tonight is going to be a little different than the norm. With my Greek Freak pick leading the way, let's get into the best bets of the night.

All odds listed are via WynnBET.

Best Prop Bets Today

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo UNDER 5.5 Assists (-115)
  • Luka Doncic 4+ Threes (-120)
  • Darius Garland OVER 9.5 Assists (-105)

Giannis Antetokounmpo UNDER 5.5 Assists (-115)

Antetokounmpo has missed this line in each of his last four games. With Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton on the floor, he can be more of a scoring threat and help quarterback the defense. He doesn’t have to facilitate the offense and make sure he gets others involved. That is a scary sight for the Timberwolves. I don’t expect Karl-Anthony Towns, Naz Reid or any other of the Timberwolves’ bigs to guard him successfully. This is a scoring night for Giannis and I’ll fade his assists as a result.

Luka Doncic 4+ Threes (-120)

Doncic’s shot is one of the most inconsistent things about his game, but I’m riding with it tonight. The main reason why I’m on this prop is because of the volume. Doncic has taken at least 10 threes in his last seven games. He had a bad showing last night, but I’m banking on some positive regression. If the Hornets are able to speed the game up, I like the volume even more.

Darius Garland OVER 9.5 Assists (-105)

Garland has been on another level lately. With pieces coming in and out, he’s taken it upon himself to get the offense going. He’s cleared this line in six of his last eight games, even notching a 19-assist game along the way.

While I think Detroit will be competitive in this game, the Pistons’ don’t have the best defense in the league. If Garland continues to run the show, a double-digit assist game is in play.
