The Golden State Warriors get a second chance to close out the Western Conference Finals on Thursday when they play Game 5 in Golden State against the Dallas Mavericks

I have a bunch of bets for this game, including a parlay that I wrote up earlier and two separate player props that I’m also playing.

Let’s cash in and enjoy another Steph Curry-Luka Doncic matchup!

NBA Best Bets Today

  • Luka Doncic UNDER 52.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists (-120)
  • Kevon Looney UNDER 9.5 Rebounds (-105)

Luka Doncic UNDER 52.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists (-120)

I’ve stayed away from this prop in this series, but I’m going to go back to the Luka Doncic UNDER on his PRA in this game.

Yes, Luka has cleared this number in three straight games, but with his PRA now climbing to 52.5 I’m going to zig when everyone else is zagging.

Outside of the past three games, Doncic has recorded 53 or more points, rebounds and assists in just one other playoff game, when he scored 45 points in Game 1 against the Phoenix Suns.

So, Doncic has hit the UNDER on this number in 10 of 14 games? Yeah, I’m not going to fall into the recency bias here and take the UNDER, as he’s due to regress in some way in Game 5 in Golden State.

Kevon Looney UNDER 9.5 Rebounds (-105)

Kevon Looney has really been solid for the Warriors in this series, averaging 10.8 points and 8.8 rebounds per game, but he’s come back to earth in the rebounding department after back-to-back 12-rebound games.

Looney is averaging just 7.0 rebounds per game in the playoffs and is playing less than 20 minutes per game. Plus, he has really inflated his rebounding numbers with a 22-rebound game against the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals.

Overall, Looney has gone over 9.5 rebounds just three times in 15 playoff games! I’m all about the UNDER on this prop in Game 5.
