It’s not the busiest day in the NBA, but we still have plenty of games to bet on.

Tonight, we’re backing a big underdog and underreacting to a team riddled with injuries. It’s just two plays, but I’m ready to go into Sunday with two wins.

Here are my favorite plays of the day.

NBA Best Bets Today

  • Magic +10.5 vs. Raptors
  • Bucks ML vs. Hornets

Magic +10.5 vs. Raptors

The Orlando Magic have lost seven games in a row and have only covered in two of those games. One of the games they did cover in was as a double-digit underdog. We’re getting to the point in the Magic’s streak where I want to believe they are due for a win/cover.

I’ve bet on the Magic several times during this losing streak and at this point, I simply want to see this through.

The Raptors have only been a 10-point favorite once this season, and they failed to cover at home in that game as well.

With the Magic having talent and length to challenge Toronto at the rim, I’ll back them to keep this game close.

Bucks ML vs. Hornets

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday will all be out on Saturday night, but I’m still going with the Bucks .Milwaukee is 2-1 SU in games Giannis has missed this season, as well.

Charlotte is still missing plenty of players – Dennis Smith Jr., LaMelo Ball, Gordon Hayward and Cody Martin. Even though Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo won’t play tonight, the Bucks still have more than enough talent to keep the Hornets at bay. We’ve seen the Bucks be competitive while being short-handed this year. I’ll back the Bucks’ system and take them as slight favorites.
