NBA Best Bets Today: Predictions for Steph Curry, Bulls and Jazz on Saturday

This biggest story in the NBA tonight is whether or not Steph Curry will hit 10-plus 3-pointers and break the all-time record set by Ray Allen.
Curry has been fantastic this season, and is the favorite to win the league’s MVP award at WynnBET, so you know I had to make a prop pick for him today.
I have three other picks for tonight’s slate, including a rebounding prop for an underrated center this season.

Utah Jazz vs. Washington Wizards: Jazz -7 (-110)
The Wizards are undefeated against the spread as a road underdog this season, but they’ve failed to cover in their last four games.
The biggest issue for Washington has been on the defensive end, as the team has seen some serious regression after a strong start, now ranking No. 15 in the NBA in defensive rating.
The Jazz are No. 1 in the NBA in offensive rating overall and on the road, and I think they’re going to give the Wizards some trouble tonight.
Utah beat Philadelphia and Minnesota on the road in its last two games by a combined 54 points. The Wizards are in trouble of falling to 15-12 on the season tonight.
Chicago Bulls vs. Miami Heat: Bulls Moneyline (+100)
Two of the most banged up teams in the NBA will face off on Saturday with the Miami Heat hosting the Chicago Bulls.
Miami is without both Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler in this matchup, while the Bulls are down DeMar DeRozan, Coby White and Javonte Green due to the NBA’s health and safety protocols for COVID-19.
While both of these teams are banged up, Nikola Vucevic and Zach LaVine are both healthy for Chicago. Both teams are going to have thin bench units, but Miami did pick up a win over the Milwaukee Bucks without either of its stars.
Still, I’m going to back the Bulls in this matchup as an underdog. All of the injuries make this matchup much harder to handicap, but with Alex Caruso (questionable) potentially back in the lineup, the Bulls have a little more flexibility than the Heat.
Miami’s offense is going to rely on Duncan Robinson, Kyle Lowry and Tyler Herro, and I’d much rather back LaVine and Vucevic to come away with the win.
Jakob Poeltl OVER 8.5 Rebounds (+100)
I’m surprised to see Poeltl’s line down at 8.5 with the over at even money considering he is averaging 9.3 rebounds per game and grabbed nine boards against the Denver Nuggets in their matchup on Thursday.
Since returning from injury, Poeltl has nine or more boards in eight of his 10 games and eight of his last nine.
I know Nikola Jokic can be a handful down low, but this seems like the perfect time to back Poeltl to hang around his season average on the glass.
Steph Curry OVER 28.5 Points (-115)
Steph Curry is just 10 3-pointers away from breaking the all-time record set by Ray Allen, and I think he is going to be gunning for it tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Sixers come into this game with a defensive rating in the bottom third of the NBA, and Tyrese Maxey and Steph’s brother, Seth Curry, aren’t exactly the best defensive backcourt in the NBA.
Steph has taken 17, 13 and 17 3-pointers (!!) in his last three games, and he’s hit the over on this number in three of his last seven games. I love betting Steph overs, so let’s do it tonight in prime time.
