There’s only one game on the docket today, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have best bets for you today. I’m taking a step away from the player props and focusing on game props tonight. Let’s get right into it.

All odds are via WynnBET.

NBA Best Bets Today

  • UNDER 229 Points (-108)
  • Minnesota 1Q ML (+105)
  • Grizzlies ML -120

UNDER 229 Points (-108)

After one of the most exciting Game 1s of the first round, this series has slowed down a lot. The UNDER has hit in three of the last four games, with three games not clearing 220 points. Memphis’ defense has finally shown up and is starting to put pressure on the Timberwolves. As we saw last night in the Western Conference, close out games tend to be close and I expect this game to follow suit. The Grizzlies might have nerves in their first closeout game and the Timberwolves might be nervous as well trying to keep their season alive.

Minnesota 1Q ML (+105)

The Timberwolves have won four out of the five first quarters in this series. The one quarter they lost, Memphis won by one point. Minnesota has come out firing in every game, along with Memphis lagging behind in each game.

Close out games are always hard and the Grizzlies will be privy to that tonight. The Timberwolves will have their home crowd behind them and give the Grizzlies their best punch to start the game. If the rest of this series has any bearing on how tonight will begin, the Grizzlies should prepare for an avalanche.

Grizzlies ML -120

At the end of the day, even with both of these props, the Grizzlies are going to close this series out. Memphis is the better team and hasn’t played great this entire series. Yet, the Grizzlies’ depth has been outstanding and they have hit timely shots.

The Timberwolves continue to blow leads, not get consistent scoring from all of their stars and are inconsistent on the three point line. Maybe being at home is the key for them, but Minnesota hasn’t been able to capitalize on opportunities since Game 1. I think that is the reason its season ends tonight.
