We have some great games today with Milwaukee and Memphis hosting Game 3's in their respective series. We went 1-1 with picks yesterday, so let's see if we can go for a clean sweep today.

All odds are via WynnBET.

NBA Best Bets for Saturday, May 7 (Celtics vs. Bucks, Grizzlies vs. Warriors)

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo OVER 30.5 Points (-115)
  • Bucks’ Alternate Spread -3.5 vs. Celtics (+120)
  • Grizzlies +7 vs. Warriors (-108)

Giannis Antetokounmpo OVER 30.5 Points (-115)

Giannis Antetokounmpo is having a terrible shooting performance in this series.

He’s shooting less than 40% from the field and is STILL averaging 26 points per game. We saw in the third quarter of Game 2 that he can flip the switch and simply bully everyone at the rim. I think that it’s going to be hard to keep him down every game this series and that the “wall” Boston is throwing at him is set to fall today.

Eventually, Antetokounmpo’s talent will rise above the likes of Grant Williams. That day is today.

Bucks’ Alternate Spread -3.5 vs. Celtics (+120)

I am very confident in the Milwaukee Bucks both today and for the rest of the series. My biggest takeaway from the first two games is the the Celtics can’t compete with the Bucks if they aren’t shooting 65% from three. That percentage is what Boston shot in the first half of Game 2, and the Celtics went into the half with a 20-plus point lead.

Yet, in the other three halves, the Celtics have shot an average of 33.7% from three and have lost all three halves. Milwaukee just needs to keep doing what its doing, use home court to their advantage and win this game comfortably.

Grizzlies +7 vs. Warriors  (-108)

As much as I want the Warriors to win this game, and believe they will, seven points to too much. Memphis has clearly shown it isn’t afraid of the Warriors and has answers to all their tricks. Without Gary Payton II, the Warriors’ perimeter defense is severely compromised. The shooting for the Warriors has been sporadic, while the Grizzlies have leaned on an efficient Ja Morant.

Memphis knows how to play and has the advantage with depth. They are going to fight all game long and I don’t see a blowout in this game.
