We're fresh off a perfect night (!) in the NBA Best Bets column, and I'm looking to build on that when betting on the six-game slate in the NBA on Tuesday.

Favorites were perfect in the NBA yesterday, and I'm going to back some more favorites on Tuesday, as I think there are two fade-worthy teams in action.

Plus, I think we could be in line for a Seth Curry bounce-back game in Toronto with Kyrie Irving unable to suit up due to his vaccination status. Let's get into today's picks!

NBA Best Bets Today

  • Toronto Raptors -8 vs. Brooklyn Nets (-110)
  • Los Angeles Clippers -7 vs. Houston Rockets (-110)
  • Seth Curry OVER 15.5 Points (-135)

Brooklyn Nets vs. Toronto Raptors: Raptors -8 (-110)

The Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors will play the second game of a back-to-back against each other on Tuesday night, and the Nets will once again be without Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and Ben Simmons.

The Raptors dominated the Nets on Monday night in a 133-97 win, and they’re looking to do the same as major favorites at home on Tuesday.

This season, the Raptors are 13-9 against the spread when favored at home, and I’d be surprised if they dropped this game even with OG Anunoby out.

Brooklyn has been downright awful without Irving in the lineup, and with no James Harden to help carry the load in this game, the Raptors simply outclass this Nets team.

The big trend in this game is how these teams have done on back-to-backs this season, as Brooklyn is the worst team in the league at 1-8-1 against the spread while the Raptors are an NBA best 9-3 ATS in back-to-backs.

I expect Toronto to keep things going on Tuesday.

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Houston Rockets: Clippers -7 (-110)

The Los Angeles Clippers will play the Houston Rockets for the third time in two weeks on Tuesday night, and Los Angeles has won both of the previous matchups .

While the Clippers easily covered the spread when these two teams played at home, the Rockets were able to cover on Feb. 27 in a one-point loss.

While Houston was able to cover in the last meeting between these two teams, I just can’t back it in this matchup considering the Rockets’ 24-35-1 record against the spread this season.

Houston is 7-16 against the spread as an underdog at home this season, and the team’s league worst defense is due for some regression after allowing just 99 points in Sunday’s loss.

The Clippers don’t have a great offense, but they’ve held the Rockets to 111 and 98 points over the last two games despite Houston’s penchant for pushing the pace.

It took the Clippers losing the turnover battle 18-6 on Sunday for the Rockets to cover, so I think Los Angeles gets back on track tonight.

Seth Curry OVER 15.5 Points (-135)

I may be fading the Nets tonight, but I’m going to buy low on Seth Curry after he put up just 11 points on seven shots in less than 24 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Raptors.

Since joining the Nets, Curry is taking 13.3 shots per game and is averaging 17.8 points per game while shooting 50 percent from the field and 48.8 percent from beyond the arc.

With Kyrie Irving unable to play in Toronto, the Nets are going to need all they can get from Curry to hang around on Tuesday night. I love him to get back on track after hitting this over in four of his first games with the Nets.
