We had a profitable end of the week in the NBA, winning 10 of my last 12 bets, which you can always find on either my Twitter or TikTok (@peterdewey2) as well in my NBA Best Bets column.

There are three player props that I love for Sunday’s NBA slate, so let's’ dive into the picks:

NBA Best Bets Record to Date

NBA Best Bets Today

  • RJ Barrett UNDER 19.5 Points (-120)
  • Jarrett Allen OVER 10.5 Rebounds (-125)
  • Steph Curry OVER 27.5 Points (-120)

RJ Barrett UNDER 19.5 Points (-120)

RJ Barrett has been battling an illness over this road trip, and his shooting has suffered in a big way because of it.

In his last four games, Barrett is shooting just 26.2 percent from the field and 4.5 percent from 3. That’s absolutely brutal.

The Suns are one of the better defensive teams in the league, and Barrett is going to have to deal with Mikal Bridges likely guarding him at points in this game.

Fade RJ until we see him get back on track.

Jarrett Allen OVER 10.5 Rebounds (-125)

Jarrett Allen is averaging 11.5 rebounds per game this season, and he’s getting a matchup with a banged up Miami Heat squad that has Bam Adebayo and Dewayne Dedmon listed as questionable.

The Heat rank 24th in the NBA in rebounding percentage, while Cleveland is fifth. Allen has missed this number in a few games, but he has seven games with at least 11 boards this season.

If one of Miami’s big men gets ruled out this line could move even more.

Steph Curry OVER 27.5 Points (-120)

A couple of lower-scoring games for Steph Curry have dropped his points prop from 30.5 to 27.5 heading into a matchup with the Houston Rockets.

Steph is averaging 32.2 points per game this season, shooting an insane 44.3 percent from beyond the arc, and he should light up the No. 28 defense in Houston.

Taking an OVER for Steph has been extremely profitable this season, as he has eight games with 32 or more points.
