We have a slew of Game 3s tonight in the association and the underdogs are ready to defend home court. Tonight, I’m looking at two players to end their slump from outside and one of the top seeds to get its act together.

All odds are via WynnBET.

NBA Best Bets Today

  • Trae Young OVER 26.5 Points (-130)
  • Jae Crowder OVER 3+ Threes (+155)
  • Bucks -1.5 vs. Bulls (-108)

Trae Young OVER 26.5 Points (-130)

Young’s line has gone down after the last two games, and rightfully so. The Miami Heat are making him work for every point he gets. However, Young has shot terribly from three in the first two games. He’s 2-for-17 behind the arc. That will change tonight at home. I like Young’s ceiling, especially after waking up for a 25-point performance in Game 2.

Jae Crowder OVER 3+ Threes (+155)

Crowder hasn’t been great in this series, but that is just how the “Jae Crowder Experience” is sometimes. Crowder has a way of having wild shifts in his game and I expect him to be on a high tonight. Crowder is 0-for-9 from three this series, so obviously this is an aggressive play. However, I feel we are getting value because Crowder has struggled early in the series. With Booker out, every Sun is going to get more shots. Trust Crowder to capitalize on his.

Bucks -1.5 vs. Bulls (-108)

DeMar DeRozan took over Game 2 and carried the Bulls to a win over the Bucks. Now he gets to go back home against an injured Bucks team and win another one?

Wrong.

The Bucks are going to be just fine. The Bulls needed everything to go in their favor in Game 2 and now the Bucks get a chance to breathe and adjust before Game 3. The Middleton injury does concern me, but those are more long term concerns. As for the immediate, a lot of those problems will be solved by Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Bucks were 7-9 this year without Middleton, but two of those losses came at the end of the year when the entire Bucks starting rotation sat. In the games where Antetokounmpo was available, the Greek Freak averaged 26.6 points, 12.1 rebounds and 6.3 assists.

All of this is to say that they Bucks will still have the most dominant force on the floor and are used to playing without Middleton.
