Who’s ready for some more NBA trends as we get ready to close out the regular season?

Today, I’ve got a couple of wild trends that I noticed in the NBA that have influenced two of my picks for tonight’s action.

Remember, betting solely on a trend isn’t a betting best practice, as there are many other things (current form, opponent, injuries) to look at before placing a bet.

That being said, here are three trends to help you make your wagers on Tuesday night, with all odds listed below via WynnBET Sportsbook

Memphis Grizzlies Are Dominant With Rest Advantage

This season, the Memphis Grizzlies are the best team in the NBA against the spread when they have a rest advantage, going 16-8 on the season. Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz are the worst team in the NBA with a rest disadvantage this season, going just 6-12-1 against the spread.

The Grizzlies are five-point underdogs in this game against the Jazz, but it’s hard to fade a Memphis team that has been elite against the spread all season and has a favorable trend like this.

Brooklyn Nets Remain a Must-Fade as Home Favorites

Not only have the Brooklyn Nets gone just 1-3 over their last four games to fall to the No. 10 seed in the East, but they have struggled even more at home, covering just four teams in 29 games as a home favorite.

Overall, Brooklyn is 4-24-1 ATS as a home favorite, but is still laying 17.5 points against the lowly Houston Rockets on Tuesday.

After watching the Nets struggle to put away the Detroit Pistons as 14-point favorites last week, I’ll gladly side with Houston in this spot

Atlanta Hawks Are 6-16 ATS as Road Underdog

The Atlanta Hawks simply refuse to cover when they lose.

Atlanta has struggled as a road dog this season, going just 6-16 against the spread, the worst mark in the NBA, and it has not covered one time in a loss all season, going 0-37 ATS.

You have got to be kidding me.

The Hawks may have a chance to upset tonight, as our Reed Wallach outlined in his game preview, but you’re better off taking Atlanta on the moneyline than the points based on this trend.
