There have been plenty of upsets early in the first round of the NBA playoffs, as the Phoenix Suns, Milwaukee Bucks and Memphis Grizzlies all dropped a game at home.

The Suns and Bucks entered the NBA playoffs with the shortest odds to win the title, but that is no longer the case, as Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors have taken the top spot

Khris Middleton, Devin Booker Injuries Lead to Bucks, Suns Dropping on Odds List

Injuries have played a major role early in the playoffs, with Luka Doncic missing the first two games of the Dallas Mavericks series, and now Devin Booker and Khris Middleton are banged up as well.

Booker is expected to miss Games 3 and 4 of the Suns’ series with the New Orleans Pelicans, and after losing Game 2, there is no guarantee the Suns will easily advance in this series.

A Finals rematch may be in jeopardy, as the Bucks lost Khris Middleton to a sprained MCL on Wednesday night in their Game 2 loss to the Chicago Bulls.

The Bucks have fallen to fourth in the odds with Middleton’s injury, and the Boston Celtics have looked dominant through two games against the Brooklyn Nets, putting them in a good spot to advance past the Nets and Bucks, especially if Middleton is out.
