NBA Las Vegas Summer League odds (What are Spurs' odds to win in Victor Wembanyama's first action?)

The NBA descends on Las Vegas over the next several days for its annual Summer League circuit.

All eyes will be on No. 1 pick Victor Wembanyama, who will hit the NBA floor for the first time for the San Antoino Spurs. However, the Spurs aren't favored to win this exhibition style tournament, it's the Oklahoma City Thunder, who bring one of the best young groups of prospects in the NBA.

Summer League is geared for younger players to shine and the Thunder are chalk full of them, but everyone is lining up to see Wembanyama and the Spurs take on the Charlotte Hornets on Friday, who have another highly touted prospect in No. 2 prospect Brandon Miller.

While the intrigue is around Wembanyama, San Antonio is +1300 to win Summer League. Meanwhile, the Thunder are the favorite with a loaded roster that bolsters No. 2 pick from the 2022 NBA Draft Chet Holmgren and No. 10 pick Cason Wallace. Further, rotation players Jalen and Jaylin Williams are both listed on the Summer League roster and played in the Utah Summer League, giving them the highest NBA proven ceiling.

Everyone is looking up at the Thunder, but the Pistons and Trail Blazers are the other two teams that are inside of +1000 as there is far from a runaway favorite in Summer League as there are many highly touted prospects that don't end up playing by the end of the tournament.
