The Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers both failed to hit their team implied totals in the 76ers 112-97 victory on Monday night.

It turned out to be a bad beat for Sixers' total bettors, as Philly scored just 17 points in the 4th quarter and got stuck a half a point away with 1:12 left in the game.

Now with Game 3 set to tip at 8:00 p.m. ET tonight from Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, oddsmakers keep adjusting their lines; moving further and further up.

After opening consensus at 214/214.5, the line at WynnBET has moved up to 216, with several other books raising the over/under to 216.5.

Why is the Movement On the Over for Sixers-Raptors?

Philadelphia's defense was terrific in Game 2, but the Sixers clearly let their guard down offensively in the fourth quarter.

The Sixers took just 15 shots total; making six of them in the entire period after taking 54 shots during the first three quarters.

Furthermore, the Raptors have been held to under 100 points twice since March 20. One was the final game of the season in a 105-94 loss to the Knicks where playoff seeding had already been determined, and the other was against these Sixers in a 93-88 win at Philadelphia.

Despite oddsmakers adjusting the spread for the absence of Matisse Thybulle, who is unvaccinated and cannot play per Canada law; BetSided's Peter Dewey still expects the Sixers to handle themselves on the road tonight.

Regardless of who wins, expect both sharps and public bettors to support the over as the series shifts north.
