We're finally reaching the point in the NBA season where we have a big enough sample size to truly evaluate some teams, and it's already become clear that squads like the San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets and Orlando Magic won't be competing this season.

After slow starts to the 2022-23 campaign, the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors have turned things around in a big way over the past few weeks. Anthony Davis is making an MVP case for himself over the last nine games, posting 55 and 44-point performances while the Lakers have climbed back into at least the play-in conversation in the West.

Has any of the recent play changed where teams stand, or if you should bet them in the futures market?

Here's a look at our latest NBA Power Rankings:

1. Boston Celtics (+380) Last Week: No. 1

Boston is the first team with 20 wins, and the Celtics are still on pace to have a historic offensive season. They may hold this spot all season.

2. Milwaukee Bucks (+600) LW: No. 2

Khris Middleton is finally back, which should help the Bucks improve on their average offense so far in the 2022-23 season.

3. Phoenix Suns (+1000) LW: No. 3

Phoenix was blown out by Dallas on Monday, but it stays in the No. 3 spot here for playing well overall without CP3.

4. New Orleans Pelicans (+3200) LW: No. 7

Are the Pels the best value in the futures market? The team is half a game out of the top spot in the West and has won four straight. This is a dangerous roster when healthy.

5. Memphis Grizzlies (+2100) LW: No. 8

Memphis is back in the No. 3 spot in the West, and the team is showing that it's one of the league's best when Ja Morant, Dillon Brooks, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bane are healthy.

6. Cleveland Cavaliers (+2500) LW: No. 6

Cleveland needs Jarrett Allen back to help its defense, and the team has to be better on the road (5-8) to compete for a top spot in the East.

7. Los Angeles Clippers (+950) LW: No. 5

Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are back for now... but the Clippers' injury concerns hurts their ceiling at the moment in the West.

8. Denver Nuggets (+1500) LW: No. 4

Denver's flaw right now is its 26th-ranked defense, which will have to improve in a loaded Western Conference.

9. Atlanta Hawks (+5000) LW: No. 14

The Hawks have been frustrating to watch this season, especially when they blow a home game to the OKC Thunder like they did on Monday. Yet, they are still a top-four team in the East right now.

10. Golden State Warriors (+750) LW: No. 10

Outside of a bad loss to the Pacers, Golden State is still 7-3 in its last 10 games and is making a move up the standings in the West.

11. Brooklyn Nets (+1600) LW: No. 16

The Nets are making a push in the East, winning seven of 10 games to grab the No. 6 seed heading into Tuesday's action.

12. Sacramento Kings (+13000) LW: No. 13

The Kings may be for real, posting one of the best offenses in the NBA and winning seven of their last 10 games to snag the five spot in the West through 22 games.

13. Portland Trail Blazers (+8000) LW: No. 11

Damian Lillard is back for the Blazers, who are looking to turn around a 3-7 stretch that's knocked them down to seventh in the West.

14. Philadelphia 76ers (+2400) LW: No 9

Three straight losses have dropped the banged up Sixers back to .500 on the season. Once James Harden and Tyrese Maxey are good to go, Philly should go on a run.

15. Dallas Mavericks (+3000) LW: No. 19

Dallas really doesn't have enough help for Luka Doncic, but he has willed this team to enough wins for them to likely be a playoff team this season.

16. Utah Jazz (+21000) LW: No. 15

The Jazz have come back to earth and are just two games over .500 with more regression likely coming. Don't invest in them in the futures market.

17. Toronto Raptors (+4500) LW: No. 11

The Raptors are one of the worst road teams in the NBA, and they have struggled recently against playoff teams (Brooklyn, New Orleans and Boston) to fall back to .500.

18. Indiana Pacers (+40000) LW: No. 17

The Pacers did bounce back with a win over the Warriors on Monday, but the team is starting to show that it isn't a top seed in the East, going 5-5 over its last 10 games.

19. Los Angeles Lakers (+6000) LW: No. 25

The Lakers' title odds have been slashed in half with Anthony Davis leading the team to an 8-2 stretch in its last 10 games.

20. Miami Heat (+3500) LW: No. 20

Miami has looked better since Jimmy Butler returned, but the Heat are still under .500 and haven't proven they can remain healthy all season long.

21. Washington Wizards (+30000) LW: No. 18

The Wizards' regression is coming, losing seven of their last 10 games and ranking bottom 10 in the NBA in net rating.

22. Minnesota Timberwolves (+10000) LW: No. 21

This season could be a massive failure for the Timberwolves, who are without Karl-Anthony Towns due to injury after trading a treasure trove of picks for Rudy Gobert.

23. New York Knicks (+30000) LW: No. 22

The Knicks are one of the worst shooting teams in the NBA, and they don't defend the 3 well. That's a recipe for disaster.

24. Oklahoma City Thunder (+100000) LW: No. 24

These odds are a bit disrespectful for an OKC team that is hovering around .500 and has plenty of quality wins this season.

25. Chicago Bulls (+20000) LW: No. 23

The Bulls may need to blow things up, because this roster isn't working and has a bunch of high-paid veterans on it.

26. Charlotte Hornets (+100000) LW: No. 26

LaMelo Ball's ankle injury has really hurt the Hornets this season, and their odds reflect that they're almost guaranteed to miss the playoffs.

27. Houston Rockets (+100000) LW: No. 29

Houston is 5-5 in its last 10 games, showing that it can at least compete on a nightly basis, something a few teams can't say right now.

28. Detroit Pistons (+100000) LW: No. 30

Cade Cunningham may be out for the season, but it's opened up a role for Killian Hayes to play well. Still, the Pistons are way out of things early in the season.

29. San Antonio Spurs (+100000) LW: No. 27

The Spurs have lost 11 straight and have won just one of their last 17 games. Gregg Popovich's career potentially coming to an end like this would be a little disappointing.

30. Orlando Magic (+100000) LW: No. 28

The Magic are just 5-20 and have lost nine straight. This team is going to get a solid player to pair with Paolo Banchero in the draft.
