The Golden State Warriors had two picks in this year’s NBA Draft, but Vegas is heavily favoring one of them to win Rookie of the Year.

WynnBET has Jonathan Kuminga, the Warriors No. 7 pick, with +1750 odds to win Rookie of the Year. Golden State took Moses Moody with its second lottery pick at No. 14, and he is +4000 to win Rookie of the Year.

Kuminga and Moody both had decent Summer League debuts. Moody had 15 points, four rebounds and hit two 3-pointers. Kuminga had 16 points, six rebounds and three steals. The two performed similarly, but the odds say Kuminga has higher potential for their first year in the Bay Area.

Kuminga is not only younger than Moody, but he also has professional experience already.

He spent last season in the G-League and played with Jalen Green on the G-League Ignite. He averaged 15.8 points and 7.2 rebounds. He struggled with his shot, shooting 38.7% from the field and 24.6% from downtown.

Moody spent last season at the University of Arkansas, where he averaged 16.8 points and 5.8 rebounds on 42.7% from the field. Moody is a better shooter than Kuminga is, averaging 35.8% from 3-point land.

The Warriors were looking for defense and shooting going into this draft and they found players that can fill each hole. With Klay Thompson coming back, Golden State is expected to make a run at the championship and need the young players to step in and contribute immediately.

Kuminga seems to be getting most of the love from the oddsmakers right now, but as Summer League continues we should see bot he and Moody's odds shift up and down.
