The Chicago Bulls are on the road tonight in Cleveland taking on the Cavaliers. The Bulls have already beaten the Cavs twice this year and are only a 2-point underdog in tonight’s game.

There’s a good chance that this line moves a little bit towards the Bulls before tip-off, but I still think the Bulls are the best underdog play of the day.

Let me explain.

Why Bulls Can Upset Cavaliers In Cleveland

When these two teams played two weeks ago, the Bulls were able to win by 10 points -- and that was without Zach LaVine. He's back in the lineup and should give the Cavaliers' defense a lot of fits.

Over the last 10 games, the Cavaliers and Bulls have had equally bad defenses. They rank 21st and 22nd in defensive rating. Cleveland has the better offense, but it truly depends on how efficient Darius Garland is. While he's picked up the slack for the Cavaliers' offense, some nights he can take a lot of shots to get there. Over the last 10 games, Garland has only shot above 45% once. He’s turned into a volume shooter, but hasn’t been efficient enough to make him an elite one.Unless Garland is on top of his game tonight -- which will be hard with Alex Caruso guarding him -- the Bulls will get trounced tonight.

Chicago has won the last two matchups in this series, covering in both games it won. The Bulls have a history of choking against the top teams in the league, but the Cavaliers have shown they no longer fit into that category.

The Bulls, no matter what is going on record-wise, have shown the ability to beat up on other struggling teams. They found their niche and the Cavs fit the bill perfectly.
