No. 14 Indiana has been hot to start the season, but they enter tonight's game against Nebraska coming off their first loss of the season, falling to Rutgers 63-48 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Nebraska comes off its biggest win of the season, taking down No. 21 Creighton 63-53. Now, they have a chance to beat their second-straight ranked opponent.

Can the Cornhuskers pull off the upset? Let's dive into the odds.

Nebraska vs. Indiana Odds, Spread, and Total

Nebraska vs. Indiana Prediction and Pick

Indiana is rightfully favored, but this spread is a little too wide for me to back the Hoosiers in this spot.

Nebraska ranks inside the top 100 in both effective field goal percentage and defensive efficiency. One of the strongest points of their game is keeping their names off the foul sheet. They have the third lowest fouls per possessions percentage. That's going to keep their best players on the court and prevent Indiana from shooting many free throws.

The Cornhuskers also rank 86th in opponent turnovers per possession.

Don't get me wrong, Indiana outranks Nebraska in a lot of areas, but not by as much as you'd assume if you compare the two team's records.

Finally, keep an eye on Nebraska's offensive rebounding. The Cornhuskers rank 44th in offensive rebounding rate, grabbing 33% of potential offensive boards. If they can produce some second chance scoring chances, they'll be able to keep this game close.

Give me Nebraska and the points.
