Nebraska vs. Michigan State: Prediction, Odds and Spread for College Football Week 4
By Thomas Snodgrass
The Nebraska Cornhuskers actually gave No. 3 Oklahoma a hard time last week, only losing by a touchdown, covering as 22.5-point underdogs.
The Michigan State Spartans went into Miami as a road underdog and took out the No. 24 ranked Hurricanes.
Depending on how you look at it, you could say it was a good week for both programs. How will these two fare against each other in Week 4?
Nebraska looked much more competitive on Saturday, containing Oklahoma’s quarterback Spencer Rattler well, but struggled to contain the running game, allowing 194 rushing yards.
Michigan State has propelled from the pit of the Big Ten to the No. 20-ranked team in the country.
The Spartans were expected to have their hands full against Miami on Saturday, but actually handled them pretty comfortably. Quarterback Payton Thorne threw for four touchdowns, and running back Kenneth Walker III ran for 172 yards; a fun game to watch if you’re a Michigan State fan, or if you had money on the Spartans.

Nebraska vs. Michigan State Prediction and Pick
Michigan State has been rolling this year and should continue to do so this Saturday.
Nebraska’s rushing defense has been gashed several times this season. The Cornhuskers rushing D now ranks 138th in the country and will have to try and halt Kenneth Walker III in Week 4. Don't count on it with Walker as explosive as any running back in the country this season; he also ran for 264 yards in Week 1 against Northwestern.
The Spartans will easily cover the -4.5 point spread. I would head on over to WynnBET before the spread moves to five or higher.
