Nets vs. Jazz Prediction and Odds (Back Undervalued Nets On the Road)
The Brooklyn Nets are slumping. The Utah Jazz are slumping too. These teams have gone a combined 6-14 in the last 10 games and need to turn their fortunes around. Brooklyn is coming off one of the more embarrassing losses of the year -- losing to the Kings.
Utah won in its last time out, beating the Nuggets by 4. Tonight will be a good test for the Jazz, as they will be getting Donovan Mitchell back. Will that be enough?

Nets vs. Jazz Prediction and Pick
The Jazz are getting a much-needed boost with Mitchell's return, and I'll back them tonight. James Harden played one of the worst games of his career against the Kings, leaving people to question whether Harden will ever return to his All-NBA form. Harden will have to wait for his bounce-back game, leaving the Nets in Kyrie Irving's hands.
Even if Harden wasn't a good shooter in this game, his passing and creation was much needed. The Nets will be in a tough position tonight and I don't think Irving will be enough to carry them.
The Nets went from 4.5-point underdogs to 6-point underdogs after the announcement that Harden wouldn't be playing. I don't think the Nets will have enough to win, but they should be able to keep it close against a Jazz team that is struggling itself.
Without Rudy Gobert to anchor the defense, the Jazz won't be as potent as usual. Mitchell will help carry and create, but Irving will be able to get into the lane at ease.
Pick: Nets +6 (-110)
*This pick was changed from Nets ML (+150) to Nets +6 (-110) after James Harden was ruled out for the game.
