The Brooklyn Nets will roll into the Wells Fargo Center tonight, which means that Ben Simmons will play in his first game against his former team. That building is going to be raucous, loud and filled with energy.

Philly fans will have to feed on that energy all night as they won’t be able to watch their own stars. Joel Embiid will be out at least the next two games with a midfoot sprain. Can the Sixers use the fan noise and disdain for Ben Simmons to power a win?

Nets vs. Sixers Prediction and Pick

Sometimes, it’s good to underreact when stars are out. However, the Sixers are going to be without James Harden, Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid tonight. Georges Niang and Shake Milton are good players, but if they are your best players on a given night then you are in trouble.

Brooklyn has its Big 3 back and that talent will overpower Philadelphia tonight. Even if Ben Simmons clams up in front of his former team, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving will be able to pick him up.

The Nets have won 2 in a row and are 6-4 in their last 10 games. With a little bit of momentum, back Brooklyn on the road against the severely undermanned Sixers.
