Actually, Newcastle is just looking for their first win in the Premier League this season. The team has a new group of owners and is using an interim coach right now, Graeme Jones, after the former manager Steve Bruce was canned. They started the season with a loss to Tottenham and followed it up with a 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace. This draw speaks volumes about where the Magpies fall in the pecking order of the Premier League and they have some work to do before they can hang with the big boys. Needless to say, the winless team will need a miracle this weekend to avoid going 0-4-5 to start the season. 

Chelsea, meanwhile, remains atop the standings after crushing Norwich 7-0 in their last league match on Saturday. Despite a few key injuries, this game is shaping up to be another easy win for Chelsea.

Chelsea has found success through their offense so far and I expect that powerful attack to continue. The team ranks second behind Liverpool in goals scored and with Newcastle’s defensive issues, this could very well be another blowout win for the Blues. 

On the flipside, Chelsea has allowed only three goals all year in the Premier  League with Edouard Mendy posting a save percentage of 96.2. It is the highest mark of any starting keeper this year. 

I think that the Blues have another dominant performance and push the scoring total over in this one.
