Aaron Rodgers is back, and the Green Bay Packers are once again in the conversation to win the Super Bowl this season.

The Packers’ NFC North division odds were taken down at WynnBET amidst uncertainty about Rodgers’ future, but they reopened yesterday when it was reported that Rodgers would show up for training camp as he did today.

The Packers opened as -120 favorites on WynnBET, but that line is already moving, as Green Bay is a -140 favorite with the Minnesota Vikings coming in second in the odds list at +250.

It’s not surprising that the Packers are favored, as they are playing in a division that has some serious concerns. The Detroit Lions, who are favored to be the last winless team this season on WynnBET, are going through a massive rebuild after trading away Matthew Stafford.

As for the Chicago  Bears, head coach Matt Nagy has been adamant that Andy Dalton will open the season as the team’s starter even though the Bears selected Justin Fields in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Fields is still expected to make a push for the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year (he’s second at +525 on WynnBET), but it’s hard to trust the Bears with so many question marks around the game’s most important position.

The Vikings looked poised to knock off the Packers when Rodgers’ future with the team was in doubt, but now oddsmakers are giving the NFC runner ups the benefit of the doubt. If Rodgers plays anywhere near where he did last season, he and Davante Adams could lead the Packers deep into the playoffs in what may be their own version of the “Last Dance.”
