NFL Championship Late Line Movement: Chiefs Spread, 49ers vs. Rams OVER/UNDER Moves
By Ben Heisler
We've got some late movement coming out of Vegas with just hours to go before kickoff on NFL Championship Sunday!
The AFC Championship between the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals had the Chiefs as 7-point favorites throughout the bulk of the week. While the number is still currently listed at -7 at WynnBET Sportsbook, the odds on that number have moved, making Kansas City a 7-point favorite at odds of -120 (bet $120 to win $100) after sitting on -110 most of the week. Several other sportsbooks have already moved the Chiefs number to -7.5, so if you're on the Bengals side, you can bet them +7 right now at WynnBET for limited juice (-105 odds).
Furthermore, the total has also climbed a half a point over at WynnBET from 54 to 54.5. The weather is supposed to be terrific at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. There have only been two times in Championship Sunday history where the weather has been above 40 degrees Fahrenheit as well as a total over 54. Both times, the home team has won and covered the spread.
On the NFC Championship side, the OVER/UNDER has dropped to 45.5 after hanging at 46.5 during the week.
The 49ers' defense has been sensational so far since the playoffs have begun, allowing only 17 points to the Dallas Cowboys on the road, followed by just 10 points against the Green Bay Packers in a frigid Lambeau Field.
Meanwhile, the Rams' offense in the postseason scored 31 points in their win vs. Arizona, followed by 34 points on the road at Tampa Bay.
