A very happy Tuesday for the San Francisco 49ers who can finally celebrate a game won at home!

Not only did the 49ers win, but they systematically dismantled the Los Angeles Rams. From the first drive of the game to the final TD pass, the Niners made short work of a very good Rams team.

Based on that performance, it’s no surprise that the odds for the 49ers’ Week 11 matchup against the Jaguars saw odds shift overnight.

Let’s take a loot at that game and another Week 11 matchup to see why the odds are moving and where they sit currently at WynnBET Sportsbook.

49ers vs. Jaguars, Spread, and Total Odds

Spread:

  • 49ers: -6.5 (-110) / Opened at -5.0
  • Jaguars: +14.5 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • 49ers: -1000
  • Jaguars: +650

Total:

  • 47.0 (Over -110/Under -110)

The 49ers earned last night’s win over the Rams along with the shift in odds. The defense played phenomenal and reminded me why they were so highly ranked in the preseason. Matthew Stafford was unable to get any type of rhythm and even threw a couple of early interceptions. It’s not as if the Rams are a bad offense either. They may be playing poorly but they have talent for days. And the Niners shut them down almost completely

Meanwhile, offensively, Jimmy Garollolo did what he does best: distribute the ball and not turn it over. He threw for 182 yards and two touchdowns in a classic “Jimmy G” performance that did enough the keep the Rams on their heels but not too much that mistakes started to pop up.

The odds opened before this game even started with the 49ers as 5-point favorites on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The line jumped to 5.5 yesterday afternoon, but after the Niners win it's settled at 6.5 points for the time being. That is what a dominant performance can do to a spread after the odds are announced.  It is also why I am kicking myself that I thought SF would lose again at home.

Colts vs Bills, Spread, and Total Odds

Spread:

  • Colts: +7.0 (-110)
  • Bills: -7.0 (-110) / Opened -6.5

Moneyline:

  • Colts: +255 / Opened at +240
  • Bills: -310 / Opened at -290

Total:

  • 49.5 (Over -110/Under -110)

It seems that the Buffalo Bills have won back the attention of bettors after crushing the New York Jets in Week 10. It was a welcome sight to the Bills Mafia after their team was held to single-digits in a loss to the Jaguars in Week 9. The odds for Buffalo’s upcoming game against the Colts saw them open -6.5 on the spread and -290 on the moneyline.

The spread has a lot of time left to move so keep an eye on the board at WynnBET Sportsbook.
