NFL Straight Up Picks for Every Team in Week 1

16 games are on the board this week, and if you're looking for picks and predictions for every single one, you've come to the right place.
In this article, I'll give you my straight up pick for each game. If you're looking for some moneyline upsets, or some favorites to toss into a parlay, keep reading. This could also be useful if you're looking for some survivor picks, but we also have you covered in our survivor picks article here.

But with all of that out of the way, here is my best moneyline bet for all NFL Week 16 games, with odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook:
NFL Week 1 Moneyline Bets
Buffalo Bills vs. Los Angeles Rams
- Pick: Rams +114
The Rams are somehow being underrated heading into this season, despite just winning the Super Bowl. Sure, the Bills will be good, but they went 2-4 against playoff teams in the 2021 regular season. I need to see how they look against top tier competition before I'm willing to bet on them as favorite on the road against a team as good as the Rams.
New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons
Pick: Falcons +190
Cleveland Browns vs. Carolina Panthers
- Pick: Browns +100
Don't buy into the "Baker Mayfield revenge game" narrative. You should shouldn't discount Jacoby Brissett. Sure, he's not a top tier quarterback, but he's rarely going to lose you the game. The Browns still have one of the best running backs and best defenses in the NFL, and I think that'll be enough to win them this game.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Detroit Lions
- Pick: Eagles -198
Indianapolis Colts vs. Houston Texans
- Pick: Colts -340
New England Patriots vs. Miami Dolphins
- Pick: Dolphins -172
Baltimore Ravens vs. New York Jets
- Pick: Ravens -330
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Washington Commanders
- Pick: Jaguars +120
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Arizona Cardinals
- Pick: Cardinals +205

New York Giants vs. Tennessee Titans
- Pick: Giants +198
This is my best moneyline underdog bet of the week. The Giants will have new life breathed into their offense with a restructured offensive line and a new head coach in Brian Daboll. Also, I have concerns about the Titans this season. Derrick Henry's production and health took a big dip in 2021, and I'm not confident he can return to 2020 form this year.
