The first Thursday Night Football game of the 2022 NFL season has yet to kick off, and we've already seen several key line movements for Sunday's action since the start of the week.

Multiple underdogs of a touchdown or more, several of which at home, have already moved drastically past or near the 7-point mark. Additionally, one slight road favorite is already approaching from an opening number of 3, and could close at 7-plus points!

Let's take a look at the biggest and most significant line mid-week moves for Week 1 of the NFL season.

Chiefs Shoot Up Odds Board vs. Cardinals

For Chiefs fans that had hoped to lay the 3.5 to 4.5 points on their favorite team on the road in Glendale this Sunday afternoon, that time has come and gone.

Arizona is now catching anywhere from 5.5 to 6.5 points at multiple sportsbooks ahead of their Week 1 game vs. K.C., in large part to more injury news starting to creep in.

Besides already playing short-handed without star receiver DeAndre Hopkins due to suspension, the following Cardinals have been listed as questionable for Week 1.

That's several starters that could already be unavailable before the season even starts, while the Chiefs had everyone on the active roster practice on Wednesday. If the majority of these names remain out by the time lineups are released for the afternoon slate, this spread could move to 7, possibly 7.5.

Texans, Giants Getting Plenty of Bets as Long Underdogs vs. Titans, Colts

Perhaps the worst-kept secret amongst bettors, Colts head coach Frank Reich has had a rough go of it in Week 1 as the head coach in Indianapolis. Despite two playoff appearances and three winning seasons, Reich's teams have gone 0-4 both straight up and against the spread to begin the season since he took over.

After opening as 8.5-point road favorites vs. the Texans, the line has since shifted towards Houston, with the Texans moving up to 7-point home dogs at a few different sportsbooks.

BetSided's Iain MacMillan has new Colts quarterback Matt Ryan as his MVP pick for this year, but maybe your future bets can get him at better value after the first few games of the year.

Meanwhile, there seems to be some positive vibes in the direction of the New York Giants ahead of their season opener at Tennessee vs. the Titans.

After opening near a touchdown underdog on the road in Nashville, the Giants have since climbed back to 5.5-point underdogs vs. a Titans squad without two of it's top stars from a season ago. No. 1 wide receiver A.J. Brown is now a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, while star pass rusher Harold Landry suffered a torn ACL before the start of the season and will be out for the remainder of the year.

Count me in as someone backing the Giants to cover the spread this week vs. Tennessee.
