As the NFL heads into their final stretch of matchups, including the first set of Saturday games to wager on, there's plenty to dissect and take away from a wild Week 14.

The Kansas City Chiefs looked like they were going to cover their 8.5-point closing line by a mile and a half, up 27-0 over a Denver Broncos team that hadn't scored more than 23 points all season. Instead, they nearly stormed all the way back in Denver, falling 34-28 against the Chiefs to cover the spread.

Patrick Mahomes improved to 15-0 straight up vs. AFC West teams on the road, and is now a perfect 10-0 SU vs. the Broncos in his career, becoming just the fourth quarterback in history to start his career 10-0 or better against any team in the Super Bowl era.

Meanwhile, the 49ers increased their lead to two games over the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC West division with as impressive of a win as a team can have, thrashing Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 35-7 in Santa Clara. After starting the season as the team's third-string quarterback, rookie Brock Purdy made history in his starting debut for the 49ers as he took out Tom Brady at home.

Week 15 kicks off with a juicy Thursday Night Football matchup with the aforementioned 49ers travelling to Seattle to take on the Seahawks who lost at home to the recently-upstart Carolina Panthers 30-24. The Niners open up the matchup as 3.5-point road favorites.

Saturday's triple-header of action features the Indianapolis Colts off their bye week on the road in Minneapolis to face the Vikings, followed by two divisional matchups in the AFC North and AFC East.

The Baltimore Ravens, fresh off another close victory on the road go from Pittsburgh to Cleveland to face the Browns, while the Miami Dolphins now look to go 2-0 against the Buffalo Bills after knocking them off in Week 3.

For Sunday's slate, the Tennessee Titans and L.A. Chargers match up in Los Angeles to jockey for potential postseason positioning, the Cincinnati Bengals look to stay hot while the Buccaneers look to shake off their blowout loss back home in Tampa, and it's a massive NFC East showdown between the bottom two teams in the New York Giants and Washington Commanders as each look to be one o the last teams in the NFC playoff race.
