Each week of the NFL season, you see something you never expect, and also may never see again.

In the case of the Sunday Night Football matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos, one can only hope that none of us ever have to see anything like it for the rest of our lives.

The Broncos became the first team since December of 2016 to punt 10-plus times and still win the game; covering as a 1.5-point underdog at home in an 11-10 victory.

Denver, somehow, is 2-1; tied with the Kansas City Chiefs for first place in the division, who lost their first game of the season to the winless Indianapolis Colts on the road.

So what are the highlights for Week 4?

Thursday Night Football begins with a noteworthy matchup as the 3-0 Miami Dolphins, fresh off their home upset of the Buffalo Bills head to Cincinnati to face the Bengals. If you're surprised to see a 3-0 team knocking off the Super Bowl favorites as a road underdog, it's because the status of Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa may be in question with the league investigating whether the team followed proper concussion protocol.

Then on Sunday, the NFL London series kick off as the 2-1 Minnesota Vikings match up against the 1-2 New Orleans Saints from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

For Sunday Night Football, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs face Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as both quarterbacks come off losses. In fact, the Chiefs' loss on Sunday was Mahomes' third loss in the month of September of his career, boasting a 13-3 record since 2018.

On Monday Night Football, the San Francisco 49ers host the L.A. Rams in a major divisional battle in Santa Clara.
