Week 8 in the NFL features all sorts of noteworthy nuggets for bettors to circle ahead of placing their wagers. Some line up with where the odds have shifted, others go against the grain.

Take the Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Giants for example. Both teams played each other the previous week, continuing fairly remarkable trends in opposite directions.

With their Week 7 win over the Jags, the Giants have now won five consecutive games as a straight up underdog. That's literally never happened in recorded betting history until this season.

Conversely, via Evan Abrams of TAN, Jacksonville is the only team since the 2020 season to go 0-5 as a favorite straight up, with an ATS +/- of -16.8!

And wouldn't you know it. Both teams are in the same exact position with Jacksonville as a short favorite in London vs. the Denver Broncos, and the Giants 3-point road dogs vs. the Seattle Seahawks.
