Can you believe that we're halfway through the NFL regular season? It feels like just yesterday we were in the dog days of the summer with only baseball to bet on.

Week 9 of the season is ahead of us, and lines for all 13 games have been released.

So, if you're like me and try to get your bets locked in early, let me break down three games that you should bet on before the value is gone.

NFL Week 9 Games to Bet Right Now

Packers -3 vs. Lions

The Packers have struggled over the past four weeks, but they're in a perfect bounce back spot in Week 9 against the Lions. If you want to bet on them, I'd recommend that you do it sooner rather than later.

If the line climbs another half point up to -3.5, the value may be lose with Green Bay. As always, we need to be aware of when numbers cross the key numbers of three and seven. The Lions rank dead last in the NFL in opponent yards per pass attempt, allowing an average of 8.1 yards per pass.

It's time for Aaron Rodgers to lead this team to a win and cover.

Panthers +7 vs. Bengals

The Bengals originally opened as 8.5-point favorites over the Panthers, but after their tough loss to the Browns on Monday Night Football, the line has moved down to Bengals -7. I envision the line to only continue to move towards the Panthers, so now is the time to bet on them if you haven't already.

The Panthers defense may be strong enough to keep the Bengals in check without Ja'Marr Chase in their lineup. If they can keep it within a touchdown, they'll cover this spread. But, if the line dips below the key number of seven, Carolina becomes unbettable.

Chargers -3 vs. Falcons

The Chargers are another team whose spread sits at a key number of three. Their defense has been bad this season, but the Falcons defense has been even worse. Atlanta ranks 31st in opponent yards per play, and Justin Herbert should be able to tear up their depleted secondary.

With that being said, their value might be gone if the line increases over the key number of three. Bet them now before that happens.
