A new week is upon us as we wrap up the month of November, so let's finish our NHL bets on a high note.

We have six games to choose from tonight, including an anticipated battle between the New Jersey Devils and New York Rangers. The Devils have already started a new win streak after having their 13-game run snapped by the Maple Leafs last week.

Let's dive into my top three bets for tonight' slate. You can find the best available odds by each sportsbook for every game HERE.

NHL Best Bets Record-to-Date:

  • 59-57-1 (+0.99 units)

NHL Best Bets Today (Monday, November 28th)

  • Maple Leafs -152 vs. Red Wings
  • Devils -110 vs. Rangers
  • Panthers/Oilers OVER 6.5 (-120)

Maple Leafs -152 vs. Red Wings

This game is a complete mismatch and the Maple Leafs should be able to take full advantage. The Red Wings are being overvalued in the betting market now due to their 11-5-4 record, but they don't deserve the respect.

The Maple Leafs outrank the Red Wings in just about every statistic you can find. Most notably, the Leafs come in at 10th and eighth in expected goals for and expected goals against this season, while the Red Wings rank 30th and 14th in those two areas respectively.

Devils -110 vs. Rangers

The Devils, unlike the aforementioned Red Wings, fully deserve their record and I have no desire to jump off their bandwagon just quite yet. Heading into tonight, they rank second in the NHL in 5-on-5 CORSI%, first in expected goals per game, and second in expected goals against per game.

Unless their level of play drops as the season progresses, I'll continue to bet on them whenever they're listed at a fair price, which I believe they are tonight.

Panthers/Oilers OVER 6.5 (-120)

This game is an OVER bettors dream. The Panthers rank second in the league in 5-on-5 expected goals per game, and the Oilers come in at ninth. At the same time, they rank 11th and 28th in expected goals against per game.

The two teams are scoring an average combined 6.72 goals per game this season, above the set total for the game. They're also allowing an average combined 6.87 goals per game. If you want to watch all offense and no defense, this is the game to tune into tonight.
