The NHL Playoffs are officially set!

The most exciting postseason in all of professional sport will begin on Monday, May 2nd. The first game will feature the Metropolitan Division winner, the Carolina Hurricanes, against the first wild card team, the Boston Bruins.

Let's take a look at the latest odds to win the Stanley Cup via WynnBET Sportsbook.

Lightning Aiming for Three-Peat

The Tampa Bay Lightning have a chance to win three-straight Stanley Cups. They would become the first team to win three-straight cups since the New York Islanders won four-straight from 1980-1983.

The Lightning are fifth on the odds list to win it all this year at +900 (bet $100 to profit $900). They face the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round of the playoffs, and Game 1 is set to take place on Monday night.

Despite having shorter odds to win the cup, the Lightning are slight -105 underdogs against the Maple Leafs in the opening round. Tampa Bay is 2-4 in its last six games against Toronto dating back to 2020.

Eastern Conference Teams Hold Edge Over Western Conference

It's been no secret that the Eastern Conference has been the strong conference this NHL season. The eight playoff teams had been locked in since the halfway mark of the season, and the odds indicate that sportsbooks expect them to have a much better chance of winning it all.

Five of the top seven teams on the odds list at WynnBET hail from the Eastern Conference. Only the Avalanche (+325) and the Flames (+700) represent the West in the top seven odds. They're the two division winners in the West, and are likely going to meet in the Western Conference Final.
