The Wimbledon 2022 Finals is here, and not without intrigue.

Novak Djokovic hasn't lost at the All England club since 2017 and is one win away from his seventh Wimbledon crown. He is set to face Australian Nick Kyrgios, a fan favorite who is in his first ever Grand Slam Final.

Can Kyrgios rise to the occasion, or will his antics get in the way of a crowning achievement?

Here are the odds for the Wimbledon Finals from consensus sportsbooks:

Nick Kyrgios vs. Novak Djokovic Prediction and Pick

Talent was never the question for Kyrgios, but his mental fortitude was. He has been a victim of his own unforced errors and anger on the court, but it seems that he has finally found his stride at 27. He has always excelled at grass and was able to make his first semifinals this fortnight. After Rafael Nadal withdrew due to injury, Kyrgios advanced to the Finals.

While it's a great story and the crowd will surely be behind Kyrgios, it will be to no avail.

Djokovic's ability to return Kyrgios blistering serve will drag rallies out and test Kyrgios tolerance to engage in long points. I'll give the nod to Djokovic, the best returner the sport has seen, to outlast the clutch points.

Yes, Kyrgios won both matches between the two in straight sets (on hard courts), but this is the first Grand Slam Final of his career. I expect some nerves and for Djokovic to pounce.

Kyrgios is erratic and while he has looked the part of a contender at Wimbledon, he can get in his own head at any moment and drop a set with Djokovic's talent.

While the Australian won in straights against Cristian Garin in the quarters, he saved eight of nine break points while Garin saved three of six. Despite a convincing score line, the match was incredibly competitive. This is not Garin, this is Djokovic, he won't squander that many break chances.

On the other side, the Serbian star responded after dropping the first set to Cameron Norrie in the semifinals, to win in four sets: 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4.

There's not much value in playing Djokovic on the moneyline, but this is setting up for a straight set victory for the six time champ.
