No. 18 Oklahoma State vs. Kansas Prediction, Odds, Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 10

Oklahoma State looked like a fraud, walked like a fraud and in Week 9 they revealed themselves as a fraud. The defense was never good enough to be a top 10 team and after a 48-0 loss to Kansas State, the Cowboys are 6-2 and No. 18 in the first College Football Playoff rankings. 

Kansas had their fun early in the season, but just couldn’t survive the season-ending injury suffered by Jalon Daniels in the TCU game. Now, the Jayhawks are 5-3 and might have to scratch and claw for bowl eligibility after the dream start.

Oklahoma State vs. Kansas Prediction and Pick

I have been saying it all year, Oklahoma State’s defense is a disaster after the unit was so dominant last season, they have tumbled back down to earth in the most drastic way possible. The Cowboys are 108th in scoring defense and 119th in total defense. Last week, Kansas State absolutely dominated them from start to finish. I was not surprised that the Oklahoma State defense allowed 48 points, but I was surprised that Spencer Sanders and the Mike Gundy offense was shut out. 

Sanders has been great this year with 2,177 yards passing, 343 yards rushing, 15 passing touchdowns and eight more on the ground. He has thrown five picks. However, he has been playing hurt and it was clear that he was less than 100% last week, completing 50% of his passes for less than 200 yards. He didn't finish the game.

Meanwhile, Kansas may be getting healthy at the right time as star quarterback Jalon Daniels has been practicing this week and could start in this game. Whether it is him, or his solid backup Jason Bean, this Kansas offense can put up points via the ground game.

Kansas' defense has been poor all season, allowing nearly six yards per play, so I still believe this Oklahoma State offense can score with Sanders under center or his backup, Gunnar Gundy taking reps.
