No. 19 Tulane vs. Tulsa Prediction, Odds, Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 10

Tulane has one last stop in the conference before their end of season, AAC gauntlet. The Green Wave have yet to see Cincinnati and UCF, the top contenders in the conference, but they have built up the conference win, now at 4-0 and 7-1 overall. Last week it was a win over Memphis, 38-28.
Tulsa is at the bottom of the conference, 3-5 and 1-3 in the conference, but maybe they can salvage their season and steal one from the top dogs. It’s the Green Wave vs. the Golden Hurricane in maybe the most bizarre nickname matchup in the country.

Tulane vs. Tulsa Prediction and Pick
Tulane is the 19th ranked team in the country and the 37th scoring offense compared to Tulsa’s 46th ranked scoring offense. However, when you look at total offense, Tulsa is actually better.
The Golden Hurricane are 37th in total offense and the Green Wave are 60th. The difference is the defense, Tulsa is 81st in total defense compared to Tulane at 21st.
Tulsa will be able to score with Tulane unless the Tulane defense really shows up, but last week they allowed 28 to a 4-4 Memphis team and 31 points to a 1-7 South Florida squad. Tulane is really going to get tested down the stretch this season and I think it actually starts on the road in a place where they have only covered in one of their last eight tries.
Next week, Tulane has UCF on the schedule and that could potentially be for the regular season AAC title, I fully expect the Green Wave to be looking ahead. This is a textbook trap game, so I’m riding with Tulsa.
