North Carolina vs. N.C. State Prediction, Odds, Against Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 13
By Matt De Saro
In-state rivals the North Carolina Tar Heels and No. 20 North Carolina State Wolfpack face off at Carter-Finley Stadium on Friday night to end the regular season.
NC State is coming off a big win over the Syracuse Orange 41-14 and has won three of their last four games outright. The lone loss during that span came to No. 12 Wake Forest 45-42. While the conference title is out of reach, the Wolfpack has secured a bowl game with eight wins on the year.
The Tar Heels, meanwhile, are sitting at 6-5 overall and could earn better bowl positioning with an upset win over their ACC rivals. However, UNC has been very up and down this season and is hard to trust even with so much to play for. The Tar Heels have alternated between winning and losing over the last nine weeks and beat Wofford last week 34-14.

North Carolina vs. NC State Prediction and Pick
Last week’s blowout win over Wofford was a bit of an odd game for UNC as it happened without starting quarterback Sam Howell. In Howell's absence, UNC ran for 305 yards on their FCS opponents with Jacolby Criswell filling in under center.
Criswell went 11-for-19 with 125 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions. The only passing touchdown in the entire game came from third-string quarterback Drake Maye. While this was a “big win” for UNC and earned them a bowl berth, it was against a 1-9 team from the FCS.
While some think that UNC is going to build on that win and end the season with an upset win and a 7-5 record, I am not so sure. This feels a lot more like a letdown game for a team who might be feeling themselves a little too much.
NC State is a ranked team coming off a blowout win and their only loss in the last four weeks came to Wake Forest. I think that UNC will be outclassed here and will get run out of the stadium.
Pick: NC State -6.5 (-110)
