Coastal Carolina is in its second straight bowl game, set to face the MAC Champions, Northern Illinois, in the Tailgreeter Cure Bowl, taking place in Orlando Florida.

Coastal built up a 10-2 record behind an explosive offense while Northern Illinois was able to go 9-4, throttling Kent State in the MAC title game, 41-23.

How should we bet this bowl game? Let's first check out the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook.

Northern Illinois vs. Coastal Carolina Prediction and Pick

I was able to bet this spread at -9.5, but I do believe this is setting up for a Coastal Carolina blowout victory.

UNI has squeaked by this season, winning their eight FBS games by an average margin of six, and that includes the double digit Championship win over Kent State.

Both of these teams are rush first on offense, inside the top 15 nationally in rush rate, but the difference is Coastal is elite on both sides of the ball while the Huskies are one of the worst rush defenses in the country.

CCU is top 10 in rush success rate and will be facing a Northern Illinois defense that is outside the top 120 in that metric on defense. Further, they are the best explosive play offense in the nation, going against Northern Illinois suspect defense that has been prone to big plays.

Lastly, the Chanticleers are a disciplined defense, top 25 in tackling and 20th in generating havoc plays.

This line is right at -10.5, and I believe Coastal is in line to win this one comfortably, avenging last year's bowl loss last year to Liberty, and getting their first bowl win in program history.

PICK: Coastal Carolina -10.5
