Northern Illinois vs. Buffalo Prediction, Odds, Against Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 12
By Matt De Saro
John Richardson kept NIU in first place in the MAC West with a game-winning 32-yard field goal as the clock hit zero. The 30-29 victory over Ball State helped the Huskies keep a one-game lead over the Central Michigan Chippewas in the MAC West Division. NIU has the best conference record in the Mid-American at 5-1.
The Huskies hit the road this week to UB Stadium to take on the Buffalo Bulls under the lights. Buffalo is coming off two straight losses to Bowling Green and Miami (Ohio) and is 4-6 overall and fourth in the MAC East.
A win for the Huskies will put them one step closer to a division title while a loss could knock them out of first place entirely. Can the Bulls play spoiler or will the Huskies continue to beat conference opponents?

Northern Illinois vs. Buffalo Prediction Prediction and Pick
With just two games left in the season, NIU is very close to securing the best record in the MAC West. All that stands in their way is Buffalo this week and Western Michigan the next. The Huskies have lost just one game in conference play but are 3-3 ATS against their MAC counterparts.
They have zig-zagged between covering and not covering over the last five weeks. The Huskies were one-point underdogs last week against the Cardinals and won. As a favorite, the Huskies are 1-1 ATS this season.
Despite a losing record, the Bulls are a dangerous team. The trouble is they are wildly inconsistent. One area in which they are constant, however, is their ATS record. They are consistently not covering and have ATS wins in three of their ten games and just once as an underdog.
Buffalo will look to bounce back after a disaster where they lost 45-18 against the Redhawks. They are now in fourth place in the East Division with e a .500 record. I think that while both teams match up decently, the Huskies are in a much better place right now and provide strong value as a near pick em'.
Pick: NIU -1.0 (-110)
