Northern Kentucky vs. Detroit Mercy Prediction and Odds (Go Under in the Motor City)
By Ben Heisler
The Detroit Mercy Titans put their undefeated home court win streak on the line when they face the Northern Kentucky Norse in Horizon League Friday night hoops.
The Norse trail Horizon League leader Cleveland State by a game and a half in conference play as they look to inch closer against a tough Detroit Mercy squad led by guard Antoine Davis who's averaging 23.4 points per game and 4.9 assists.
With the game hovering around a pick 'em, is there a side or play on the total offering good value?

Northern Kentucky vs. Detroit Mercy Prediction and Pick
The Titans, despite their 10-13 overall record have some quality wins this year; one of which came on the road against Northern Kentucky back on February 6th. The Titans held a 13 point lead with just over 16 minutes to go before Northern Kentucky scored 39 of their final 68 points the rest of the way.
What's even more impressive about Detroit Mercy's road win was how efficient they were inside; shooting 75% from inside the three-point line despite only going 12-31 from downtown. Northern Kentucky also shot the ball well; 50% from field goal range and 47.6% from three. But Detroit Mercy gained several more possessions with 11 offensive rebounds and put themselves
Both these teams are neck-in-neck in their KenPom ratings, with Northern Kentucky coming in at 228 in the country, and Detroit Mercy at 232.
Detroit Mercy remains the only undefeated team in college basketball at home ATS, but the same size is just four games that I don't think it's a key trend to truly back.
WIth the spread hovering around a 1-point advantage, I'll back the under at 136 which has already moved from 137.5 at the consensus opening line.
I don't expect either team to both shoot lights out for the second game against each other, and even when they did, it predominantly came in the second half. The 32-27 score at halftime is more of a reflection of what to expect the second time around.
LEAN: UNDER 136 (-110)
