If Mayor Adams lifts the vaccine mandate, Irving will be eligible to play home games and will be a full-time player again. The Nets would then have a trio of Durant, Simmons and Irving to take on the rest of the Eastern Conference.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver went on ESPN last week and expressed his discontent with the vaccine mandate – specifically as it applies to unvaccinated players from different teams.

If Silver’s words are truly what is moving the needle, then the Nets should thank him as well as they know how.
Brooklyn has been through a lot in the recent weeks. However, if getting an all-time great point guard back is on the table, everything could change in an instant.
