Now's the Time to Buy Low on Chiefs' Super Bowl Odds

The Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos are undefeated, and the Kansas City Chiefs are in last place in the AFC West.

Just how we all drew it up, right?

The Chiefs are 1-2 to start the year and are 0-3 against the spread. As our Iain MacMillan pointed out last week, Kansas City has been a nightmare for bettors going all the way back to last year, going 1-12-1 against the spread over their last 14 games.

Their defense has been atrocious. They rank 31st out of 32 teams in the league with 95 points allowed through three weeks, including dead last in the league against the run with seven touchdowns allowed.

While they're a late Week 2 fumble away from being 2-1, Chiefs fans and bettors alike are panicking that the once Super Bowl favorites are likely finished before a quarter of the way through the year.

And that's exactly why bettors should be running to the window to grab the Chiefs right now.

Updated Super Bowl Odds Increase for Bucs, Chiefs

Before the start of Week 3, WynnBET had moved the Tampa Bay Buccaneers past the Chiefs for the first time in Super Bowl odds futures. The Bucs were the new favorites in the NFL to win Super Bowl 56 at odds of +550, with the Chiefs slightly behind at +600.

With the Bucs' loss on the road to the Los Angeles Rams, along with the Green Bay Packers' upset of the San Francisco 49ers, there were several teams that saw some notable line movement.

Here's how the top team's odds at WynnBET looked as of Sunday:

  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers +550
  • Kansas City Chiefs +600
  • Buffalo Bills +1200
  • Los Angeles Rams +1200
  • San Francisco 49ers +1200

Here's how they currently stack up:

  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers +600
  • Kansas City Chiefs +700
  • Los Angeles Rams +800
  • Buffalo Bills +1000
  • Green Bay Packers +1300

With upcoming Chiefs schedule, their value may not be better than it is now

Kansas City is sensing serious urgency heading into their next game on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles, but the good news is the Chiefs have an extra day of rest compared to Philly who plays Dallas tonight on Monday Night Football.

From there, the Chiefs host the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football the following week, before road games against Washington, Tennessee, and then back home vs. the Giants. Buffalo may look like the most complete team in the AFC right now, but it still lost to a terrible Steelers team at home in Week 1 as 6.5-point favorites.

While bettors zig towards teams like the Rams, Bills and Packers after big Week 3 wins, consider zagging towards the Chiefs at the highest offer WynnBET has made for their Super Bowl odds, and hope adjustments get made towards fixing their defense.
