The Denver Nuggets are looking to bounce back from a blowout loss to the Boston Celtics on Friday when they take on the 6-7 Chicago Bulls on Sunday.

Denver is a slight favorite on the road in this game, and it’s been one of the best offensive teams in the NBA so far this season, ranking third in offensive rating.

However, the Bulls come into this matchup with a top-five defensive rating, which is a huge step forward from last season.

Both of these teams will be missing a key bench guard, as Coby White is out for the Bulls and Bones Hyland is out for the Nuggets.

Nuggets vs. Bulls Prediction and Pick

The Bulls are a confusing team to figure out this season, struggling on offense (20th in offensive rating) despite having Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan.

Last season, interior defense was a big concern for the Bulls, and that could be a problem with two-time reigning MVP Nikola Jokic on the opposing sideline. Jokic picked up a triple-double in his lone matchup against Chicago last season.

Denver has struggled against the spread (5-7 this season), but it has found ways to win games as Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. work their way back into playing shape after missing most of last season.

The Bulls certainly have the offensive firepower to keep up with Denver, but they haven’t shown it so far this season. I think Jokic and the Nuggets bounce back in this spot, especially with the Bulls down some scoring with White out.
