Nuggets vs. Jazz prediction and odds for NBA Summer League (Utah stays hot)
By Peter Dewey
The Denver Nuggets are 0-2 so far in the Las Vegas Summer League, and it makes sense since the team isn’t playing one of its best young players in Christian Braun.
On Wednesday, Denver will match up with the Utah Jazz, who have been great in Las Vegas winning both of their games.
No. 16 overall pick Keyonte George has been the driving force, averaging 29.5 points per game and dishing out 17 assists over his two games in Vegas. The Jazz may have gotten a steal in the former Baylor Bears star.
Utah has a lot more talent with George, Ochai Agbaji, Micah Potter and others playing for it in Summer League, but can it cover in this spot?
Here’s a look at the latest odds:

Nuggets vs. Jazz prediction and pick
With George already playing at such a high level, I love Utah to win this game.
Denver looked good against the Atlanta Hawks, shooting over 40.0 percent from beyond the arc, but outside of Collin Gillespie and Peyton Watson, there isn’t much NBA experience on this team. Even Gillespie has very little NBA run under his belt.
Utah put up 108 points in its win on Monday with Johnny Juzang scoring 26 points off the bench for the Jazz.
The play of the team’s young guards (George, Juzang, Agbaji) has been very impressive this summer.
I expect Utah to flex its muscle again on Wednesday night.
Pick: Jazz -3.5
