Coming off a huge upset win over the 76ers, MVP-candidate Nikola Jokic and the 41-28 Denver Nuggets now take on the 29-38 Washington Wizards tonight at 7:00 p.m. EST.

Denver won 10 of 11 but have since lost two of three and only covered the spread once in their last five, while the Wizards have lost and failed to cover in four straight.

The Nuggets beat Washington 113-107 earlier this season, though that was before Bradley Beal was lost to injury. Can the Wizards keep it close without their star or will Denver build off the momentum of their win in Philadelphia to notch another convincing victory?

Let's check out the odds over at WynnBET to find some value in this Nuggets vs Wizards matchup:

Nuggets vs Wizards Prediction and Pick

Washington is a disaster. They're 25-41-1 against the spread (ATS) and 1-6 ATS in their last seven as a home underdog. I'll admit, since they added Kristaps Porzingis their offense has improved, but the defense still ranks 28th in rating over their last 15 games.

They take on a Nuggets squad that is one of the very best road teams in the NBA. Denver has won six in a row away from home and is a ridiculous 10-2 ATS in their last dozen road games. For as much as Porzingis has improved the Wizards offense, he cannot guard Jokic and the reigning MVP should wreck havoc.

I'd worry about a potential let-down spot for the Nuggets after such a big win in Philly, but with only 13 games left in a tight playoff race I expect a fully-focused effort. Only one game separates Denver between the 4 and 7 seeds, and they want to do everything in their power to avoid a playoff series with Phoenix, Memphis, or Golden State.

Give me the Nuggets to rattle off another strong performance on the road and send Washington to 4-13 ATS in their last 17 as an underdog.

Pick: Denver -6 (-110)
